TPD Directive
Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) is a set of regulations adopted by the European Union in 2014, aimed at regulating the manufacturing, packaging, marketing, and sale of tobacco products within the EU. The TPD sets out rules on a range of issues, including the contents and labeling of tobacco products, advertising and promotion, and the sale of electronic cigarettes.
Due to the use of nicotine in vape products and e-liquids, it also falls under the TPD Directive, since any products not submitted and approved by the MHRA would be illegal to sell.
The TPD sets out specific regulations for electronic cigarettes, including limits on nicotine content, requirements for child-proof packaging, and restrictions on advertising and promotion.
All Vapes Bars products are TPD compliant, since have been submitted to the MHRA for notification and have passed and declared TPD compliant. We have all the documents and certificates from each one of our products.
