At Vapes Bars®, we believe in sustainability and taking care of our planet. That’s why we want to encourage you to recycle our vapes after use.

Our disposable vapes contain batteries and other materials that can be harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly. By recycling your used vapes, you can help prevent these materials from ending up in landfills and polluting our soil and water.

In addition to protecting the environment, recycling our vapes can also help reduce the demand for mining new resources. By recovering valuable metals such as nickel, cobalt, and lithium, we can reduce the need for mining and the negative impacts it can have on local communities and ecosystems.

Veolia company, dedicated to water management, waste management, and energy services, has introduced a nationwide vape recycling scheme. The waste management company provides an option for retailers to enroll in a program where they can place a customer drop-off container inside their store. The company will subsequently collect the containers to guarantee a secure recycling procedure for these used vaping products.

Veolia is furnishing retailers with vermiculite containers. This mineral helps to decrease the fire hazards related to lithium-ion batteries. Then, after these containers are gathered, vapes will be transported to specific facilities in the UK, where they will be manually disassembled and their components sorted.

To make recycling our vapes easier for you, we are committed to answer your most frequent questions.

No. Vapes have batteries that can and should be recycled. This applies to single-use vapes and rechargeable ones.

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on a vape kit means you must not throw the product in the general rubbish bin. We need to dispose of electrical and electronic appliances carefully to save valuable resources and avoid polluting the environment.

At a recycling centre, built-in batteries are removed and the rest of the device is broken down by machine and by hand. The fragments are sorted into different materials such as metals and plastics, and are cleaned.

You can also consider that retailers now take back old electricals when you’re buying new. Some larger stores will recycle your old device even if you’re not buying something new from them.
We appreciate your commitment to sustainability and hope you will join us in our efforts to reduce waste and protect the planet. Together, we can make a difference.
